Name of Event: Environment Week Celebration
Theme: Climate Change
Environment Week was celebrated at CEHS from 22nd to 25th June 2026 on the theme “Climate Change.” Students of Grades 5 to 8 actively participated in engaging activities such as slogan writing, poster making, speech writing, quiz competitions and Best Out of Waste projects using coconut shells. The activities encouraged students to express their creativity while developing awareness about climate change, environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
The programme also helped students understand the impact of human activities on the environment and the need to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives. Through these activities, students were encouraged to reduce waste, reuse available resources and make responsible choices. The celebration fostered a sense of environmental responsibility and inspired students to become proactive contributors towards a greener and healthier future.
