Name of Event: Independence Day Celebration

Independence Day was celebrated at CEHS on 15th August 2026 with immense patriotic fervour, enthusiasm and pride. The programme commenced at 8:00 a.m. with the ceremonial flag-hoisting, followed by a disciplined and impressive parade by the students, reflecting their sense of responsibility and national pride.
The Chief Guest and dignitaries addressed the gathering with inspiring messages, highlighting the values of freedom, unity, responsibility and patriotism. The Maharashtra Song and Vande Mataram were presented with great enthusiasm, followed by the National Anthem, creating a deeply patriotic atmosphere. Students also presented melodious patriotic songs that added to the spirit and grandeur of the occasion.
To encourage creativity, teamwork and healthy competition, various inter-house activities were organised. These included a Rangoli Competition, cap-making activity for Grade 5 students, and creative art activities for Grades 6 and 7. The vibrant displays showcased the students’ imagination and artistic talents.
The programme concluded with the announcement of the winners, acknowledging the efforts and achievements of the students. A heartfelt Vote of Thanks was delivered by the students, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful celebration. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the values of freedom, unity and responsible citizenship.
